Four KABs completely destroyed and disabled all equipment generating heat and electricity.

Critical infrastructure in the city, as well as throughout Kherson and the surrounding region, is constantly under attack. The Russians are using air-to-air weapons and various types of drones.

According to the OVA,

Since July 1 alone, the enemy has dropped 170 KABs on the Kherson region. This is more than in the first half of this year. Over the past two months, more than 1,700 attack UAVs have been launched into the region, and the enemy is actively using Shahed and Gerber jets to strike critical infrastructure in the Kherson region.

The Kherson Thermal Power Plant was once again under attack. This time, the facility suffered critical damage.

Acting Head of Naftogaz Serhiy Fedorenko noted that

The Russians struck a purely civilian facility that supplies heat to a significant portion of Kherson’s residential buildings. This attack serves no military purpose. Its sole purpose is to terrorize the civilian population and deprive tens of thousands of Kherson residents of their heat source on the eve of the heating season.

The head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, urged city residents, especially women with children and the elderly, to travel to safer regions whenever possible. After all, during the cold season, the city can go without heat and electricity for extended periods. He noted
